WHO Toolkit for Monitoring the Safety and Toxicity of Lenacapavir for PrEP

This webinar will bring together country representatives, partners and technical experts to disseminate the WHO LEN safety and toxicity monitoring toolkit and share country experience and discuss practical considerations for establishing and strengthening safety and toxicity monitoring systems as part of LEN rollout efforts. Objectives include:

  • Present the WHO LEN toxicity toolkit and share the WHO recommendations for toxicity and safety monitoring including available tools and resources for country implementation and adaptation.
  • Highlight key implementation considerations, including digital systems, data quality, data use, and confidentiality and specific monitoring considerations for key and vulnerable populations.
  • Facilitate sharing of country monitoring approaches, safety data, innovations and experiences of implementing active toxicity monitoring of LEN.
  • Promote early dialogue on practical steps for LEN safety monitoring during rollout.
