Finland National PrEP Guidelines, 2019

The national HIV and hepatitis expert group led by the Institute of Health and Welfare, which consists of several authorities, third sector operators and representatives of those infected, released these guideilnes in 2019. The purpose of the guideline is to create uniform practices for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, prep (pre-exposure prophylaxis), in Finland. The guidance aims to ensure that the medication is targeted correctly and that the use of the medication is accompanied by appropriate follow-up.
