Generating Demand for PrEP: A desk review

The desk review, conducted under the AIDSfree project, includes a discussion of priority populations and their barriers and facilitators to PrEP uptake, as well as best practices for engagement. It also reviews several demand creation strategic approaches that are used to generate demand for and maintain adherence to PrEP in several countries in Africa, as well as key lessons learned regarding communication efforts for PrEP in these countries. Finally, the review features a select set of examples of SBCC materials focused on PrEP from these countries.
