Global Mapping of PrEP Ring Implementation Research and Programmatic Pilots

This analysis provides an overview of the 13 introduction studies that include the PrEP ring as one of the PrEP products under investigation alongside oral PrEP and/or CAB for PrEP as of November 2023. All of the PrEP ring studies are conducted in Sub-Saharan Africa and focus primarily on adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) as well as female sex workers (FSW) and women engaged in transactional sex.
