Dapivirine Ring Introduction Framework

The ring introduction framework highlights anticipated strengths, challenges, and key questions regarding introduction of the dapivirine ring in sub-Saharan Africa. It can be used by policymakers, implementers, and others planning for introduction of the dapivirine ring and other biomedical HIV prevention methods. The framework is based on several inputs including secondary research, interviews with key stakeholders in Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe, and perspectives from participants in the OPTIONS, PROMISE and CHOICE projects on the experience with oral PrEP.
